Studying Music Technology at HKU Utrecht. Piano player, music production/DTM, M4L, hardware, FMod, currently learning Blender and Unity. I'm a dork for interactive music !! 💜
Mainly I'm an audio nerd/student who loves interactive (game) music and tinkering with hardware, but I'm also into fashion, anime, going to conventions, and collecting plushies/art. You can use any pronouns
💛🤍💜🖤
As a DAW I use both FL Studio and Ableton Live, but I can also get along with Pro Tools and Reaper. For middleware my preference goes to FMod. I have a certificate as "Music Producer" whatever that means, but I think it's pretty cool! I do DTM, vocal mixing, and make interactive audio for games and livestreamers.I also use TouchDesigner and Max4Live/MaxMSP from time to time, node-based programming has my preference.Languages I'm comfortable with are English, Dutch, German, C/C++, html, css, M4L, js, ahk. (learning C#)
working on a debut EP, studying at HKU, and learning various dorky things like Unity, and Japanese.

in cooperation with fellow Music & Technology students ENFLÖDE and the devs: David de Gelder, Jasper Hemminga, Jim Dekker, Joey van Gool, Mitchel Geraedts. Together we formed Team BPM as part of the VRIJ II open assignment for HKU.
This is a top-down drum 'n bass rhythm fighter game where your attacks and music go hand-in-hand. You can download the game on itch.My roles were audio integration of FMod and its events into Unity, vocal processing, sound design, and music and mixing. We had a lot of meetings each week to insure that the sounds and music fit the artistic direction of the game, and we ideated together a LOT. I also worked closely with the devs to build a beat synchronization system for relating enemy attack patterns and other game mechanics to the events in the music. Attacks are stronger if you sync them with the kicks and snares for example.

We replaced the music for the main menu and level you see in this video with our custom tracks which adapt to which enemies are alive and which section of the level the player is in. the sound effects like gunshots and enemy sounds are still originally from the game. The assignment was to make interactive music for a game, so as one person was playing the game, the other was controlling the parameters to make the music adapt.

The assignment was to find a movie scene and re-do all the sound from scratch, but we didn’t have time for music. We only had 4 to 6 sessions of 1,5 hours to record, time, and mix, over the course of 4 to 6 weeks or so. I’m happy with how it turned out with the limited amount of time we had ^^VA:

https://www.youtube.com/@CrowsKeysFor a few years I’ve remade some songs in MIDI and shared the files & videos publicly under the Crow’s Keys alias. I’ve analysed and transcribed a lot of songs for piano and it helped me get a better understanding in music, so it was a fun project, which I sadly had to end at some point because it became too time consuming and didn’t feel fulfilling anymore. Please check out the youtube channel if you’re interested ^^
Here is a handful of songs that I've been paid for
Looping track made to create the feel of the client's digital world.
Client requested tracks that compliment eachother like an A-and-B side. The Day version and Night version are both looping and have some variations in feel, namely instrumentation, tempo, theme.
Day version:
Night version:
A cute zombie takes a stroll across the graveyard, also looping.
recording engineer/mix/master by me, for Aethy
